Project Managers are responsible for managing custom system installations from the sales process through project completion in such a way as to optimize profitability, promote customer satisfaction, and maintain the company’s reputation. From maintaining proper communication between company and all parties involved throughout the installation period to scheduling, coordinating, and conducting site walk-through's, including site inspections throughout the construction process and upon the completion of each phase of system installation, project managers ensure quality control.
Hands on, Skilled Technicians at SAV entails installing and servicing low voltage systems, including AV, lighting, shades, security and more. Proficiency in wired and wireless networks as well as the ability to read plan sets and architectural drawings is a must. Lead Technicians, in conjunction with the Project Manager, are the lead person for the SAV team on each job site. They are responsible for themselves and their team on-site, ensuring that all products are installed correctly and best practices are followed.
Project Managers are responsible for managing custom residential and commercial installation projects from the sales process through completion while optimizing profitability, promoting customer satisfaction and maintaining SAV’s superior reputation.
Maintain proactive communication between SAV and all involved parties, including the client, general contractors, architect, interior/lighting designers, engineers and consultants.
Ensure timely completion and delivery of project documents to communicate wiring design, layout, aesthetic and programming requirements to field personnel, clients and others.
Manage expectations of the client, general contractors, designers, consultants, etc.
Maintain detailed and accurate to-do lists for each project and assign tasks to technicians.
Coordinate and conduct site walks, including site inspections throughout the construction process and upon the completion of each phase of system installation to ensure quality control.
Schedule and conduct project review and status update meetings internally and externally and ensure that projects stay on schedule for timely completion.
Request timely purchase of equipment and materials to ensure project remains on task.
3+ years of experience in AV or related industry.
Previous project management experience.
Familiarity with control systems, such as Crestron, Lutron and Savant, as well as D-Tools and QuickBooks.
Proficiency in wired and wireless networks.
Knowledge of current industry trends.
Excellent executive functioning skills, including organization, prioritization, delegation and written and verbal communication.
Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to listen to, lead and guide a team.
Capable of sharing the company’s vision.
Problem solving skills (must be able to think outside the box).

Luxury Window Treatment Design Consultant
In this role, you will design, sell, measure, specify and order custom window treatment solutions, including but not limited to motorized, roller, solar and roman shades, draperies and wooden blinds, and bring the client’s vision to reality in their luxury space.
Attend sales calls and meetings with clients, architects, designers and builders and document through notes and pictures the expectations of the client.
Perform detailed measurements for custom window treatment solutions.
Work with Sales Team to develop clearly defined scopes of work.
Partner closely and timely communicate with external design consultants, SAV’s internal Design, Installation and Service Teams to ensure that clients have a seamless end-to-end experience.
Become skilled at using SAV’s shade and software systems.
Direct installation technicians in their work on large projects.
Required: 5 - 10 plus years of client-facing experience with the sales, design, specification and measurement of custom window treatment solutions.
Must be experienced at using SCT (Shade Configuration Tool) for preparing quotes.
Must be extremely detail-oriented in measuring, specifying and accurately ordering product.
Ability to program remotes, operate apps and use these products with various control systems.
Familiarity with motorized shades, blinds, shutters, roman shades and drapery treatments.
Professionalism, excellent communication and customer service skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Ability to work independently or on a team and stay on schedule and maximize billable time.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
Must be able to work safely from a ladder as needed, up to 25 feet high.
