American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
Established in 1987, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death.
AFSP is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide, including those who have experienced a loss. AFSP creates a culture that’s smart about mental health by funding scientific research, educating the public about mental health and suicide prevention, advocating for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention, and supporting survivors of suicide loss and those affected by suicide.
SAV Fast Track Division Leader Eric Bowman (far left) and a dedicated group of SAV team members once again showed up in full force to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s annual walk/run fundraiser.
This event holds deep meaning for many in our community, and we’re proud to stand alongside AFSP in raising awareness, supporting mental health, and honoring those we’ve lost. The commitment of our team to return year after year speaks volumes about the values we share—not just as a company, but as people who care deeply about the well-being of others.
We’re grateful to be part of this important effort and will continue to walk, run, and advocate for a future with more hope and less stigma.
“I want to thank all of you who walked and/or supported this team! Without the help from SAV and it’s amazing employees we wouldn’t have been able to raise an amazing amount of funds. This year we were able to raise a crazy $6,184! We placed number one for the second year in a row with the second-place team coming in at $5,897. In total the walk raised $41,173 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (Pretty Crazy for a small town in Montana) and we are grateful to all that made that possible.” — Eric Bowman, SAV Digital Environments
